Le Deuxieme is a Modern European Restaurant situated on Long Acre in the heart of Covent Garden. It was the second restaurant in Covent Garden from owner Robert Seigler. The site was secured in 2001 and, following a complete restoration, Le Deuxieme opened in the Autumn of 2001.
The aim was to create a neighbourhood restaurant bang in the centre of Covent Garden and there lies the charm of this space. Located at the Drury Lane end of Long Acre, on the corner of pedestrianised Broad Court, Le Deuxieme is a lovely space with 60 seats looking out through large picture windows on to the bustle of Covent Garden. The interior is calming and the atmosphere relaxed, providing a great venue for lunch and for dinner.
Robert Seigler also owns local favourite The Forge opened in 2007.
Head Chef Tony Howorth has had a long and successful career working in London. Following the Head Chef position at Le Caprice, Tony was invited to become Head Chef at The Ivy for its launch. A partnership was formed with Robert in the '90s, leading to the creation of Le Deuxieme. A restaurant menu has been created that combines the classic with the contemporary to offer a wonderful dining experience. The wine list comprises 150 bins, with 20 available by the glass. There is also full access to the 500 bin list of sister restaurant The Forge with its rare collection of large format bottles ranging in size from Magnums to Imperiales.
General Manager Yves Dubant remains one of the city's most charming and gracious hosts. He has run Le Deuxieme from the beginning, and continues to provide his guests with the best of welcomes and the best of times.
Le Deuxieme is open 7 days a week from noon and last orders are at Midnight.
